KEYNOTE: Kerry Barrett

With more years of experience than seem possible for someone so young-looking, I have become known for overcoming a massive and debilitating fear of public speaking and using that experience to help my clients breakthrough mindset issues and execute on their video marketing and content creation plans.

I’ve always wanted to tell great stories about great people and businesses and I love that my job allows me to do that. But story-telling is just one piece of the puzzle.

My clients often say that I’m the cheerleader they need. And I’m proud of the amazing relationships I’ve cultivated. Many of them have followed me through my news career into business-owner and now work with me as clients. And that’s what gets me out of bed in the morning, well… that and my 4-year-old needing breakfast.

One of the things that makes me a relentless advocate for my clients’ growth is my understanding of their internal challenges all the while making sure we technically deliver and execute.

Some of my proudest moments as a media trainer and video coach were when my clients broke through their obstacles and video creators and saw revenue grow by 50%, when I helped clients introduce themselves through video to a global audience, and frankly… without knowing what “P&L” or “scaling a business” meant, keeping a business going two years later through a pandemic.

I am fortunate to have been able to hone my skills and been seen on internationally renowned media institutions like NBC, ABC and Fox tv stations.

I’ve received Emmy-awards, have an online course endorsed and featured through Forbes, and have appeared in Entrepreneur.

I graduated from Clemson University with a BA in Communications and the University of Florida with a MA in Telecommunications.

I live in Sparta, NJ with my husband, three children and dog and when I’m not helping my clients become video rockstars, you can find me outside, hiding from my children, or drinking at the local bar (those two are sort of the same thing).
